We celebrated a birthday here and loved how they surprised us with a thoughtful note and gift on the special day. The 15th-floor deluxe room had an amazing view, and we enjoyed relaxing in the cozy lounge with a drink or two. The sound insulation could be better, as we could hear neighbors moving around at night, but that didn’t take away from our overall experience! 🎉

The warm, natural materials in the lobby made me feel welcomed and at home immediately. perfect for us seniors seeking comfort and accessibility. The charming decor adds a lovely touch to the atmosphere.
More seating in common areas for seniors would help.

I loved my stay at Fosshotel Reykjavik. The location is perfect, just a 10-minute walk to the city center, and it's close to the main bus stop for many tour pickups. My room on the 15th floor had stunning views of the coast and city. The staff were genuinely welcoming and always ready to help with any questions. The daily breakfast offered a good variety, although the hot food options could be improved. the scrambled eggs were not great, resembling rubber. I appreciated the nice coffee selection, but I would have liked more milk options and fewer decaf capsules in the room. I was surprised to find no USB ports for charging electronics. Another downside was the lack of air conditioning. while it's not typical in Iceland, it might be a comfort issue during warmer periods. The bar downstairs had a decent selection, but room service felt limited. My biggest takeaway is the hotel is well-organized but could enhance the dining options and room amenities for a more comfortable experience.
